Have You Checked This Out Before?
I stumbled on to Restaurant.com today. I've seen the site before but never made a purchase. I have co-workers who have tried it and suggested it to me.
Until the 13th of this month you can type in the
promo code SUN
when you check out for an extra 80% discount.
I just purchased 4 - $25 GC's for $2 a piece
total = $8!! I grabbed up GC's to a new restaurant in a nearby town.
Go on and type in your zip code to search for restaurants near you. If you live in the boonies like me you might have to widen the search range. The GC's are saved in your account and don't get removed until you actually use them at the restaurant. I've been told that they never expire. You will have to read up a little because I'm a novice.

Sunday Savings Linky!!
I'm starting up my Sunday Savings linky a day early this week. I know several of you have been thinking of linking up. So get on it!!
My scores include:
36 Oral B Toothbrushes!
I paid sales tax and I think .08 cents per coupon. So, each toothbrush cost me .15 cents!!
11 Bottles of KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce
They cost me .50 cents each!
84 Boxes of Minute Maid Frozen Treats
These were .08 cents a box. (That is the fee to buy the coupon) I rang up for $$$0$$$ at the register. It was soooo cool!! You should have seen me! Please don't think I'm crazy!! I gave these away to family members. My dad and my mother n law ended up REALLY liking them and so I stocked up their freezers. They are yummy 100 cal treats.
I hit Meijers and left with
10 bags of Chex Mix
8 containers of Crystal Light
It was fun but very time consuming. Since I live out in the middle of the boonies it took me a while to do all the driving. It was worth it though.

Sunday Savings Linky!!
Ok - Here is a look into the wild and crazy couponing day I had yesterday!! I couldn't take a pic of everything cuz just the thought was too tiring. I had tons of fun and saved TONS of money!! Right up front I will say I wouldn't normally buy things in such large quantities but I was buying for more than just my family.
This is a snapshot of my loot!! I don't have it all in here.
For instance I boug
ht 88 bags of combos and they are sooooo not all in this photo! I plan to sell them for snack next year or have them in my treasure chest. They were on super sale and I couldn't pass it up. I have tons more marinade as well. Only half of them are in the photo. I found these on accident when I went in to Kroger to grab my free frozen treats. They were on sale and I used a coupon to get them for .69 cents. BONUS!!
My
last grab of the day was 17 boxes of these yummy frozen treats for free!! I have coupons to get 44 boxes but the rest are coming in later next week. Too yummy and a great summer treat!! They don't expire until 8/12!!! Bonus!!

Money Saving Linky!!
I ran into a blogger recently that showcases her weekly finds/deals. I thought it was a great idea! I can't help it! I get soooo excited when I score my weekly deals. I want to tell everyone and share my deals and excitement.

I thought it would be cool if I started a weekly linky party of my own where we could share with each other all our super savings. I know a lot of you have been couponing so let's give it a try!

Last week I didn't have time to get to the grocery store until Sat. night with two boys in tow. Two boys ages 4 and 5. BIG mistake! I knew it would be a pain but I needed to get there and I didn't have any other choice. So here are my savings for the week!

As I look at this receipt I'm finding a couple things that were rung up wrong. My kids and hubby were waiting in the car and the register wasn't working right. I was feeling the pressure. :)

The lotion itself was reg. 10 - 13 dollars a bottle!
This hasn't been my biggest score but it was "REAL". I'm not a psycho couponer from TV I'm a real working woman with three children 7 and under. So how about you "REAL" ladies?? How are you doing in the savings department? I'm sure you can top this!

Lovin It!!

I hit Walgreens today and saved big time!!
Total bill after coupons and sales = 16.30
I saved 47.37!!!
I only bought items that were on sale and I had a coupon for.
4 boxes of General Mills Cereal
6 pks of Oscar Meyer Hotdogs
1 jar of Miracle Whip
2 6pks of Charmin double rolls
1 8.3 oz MiraLAX
Which came with a year's free subscription of Good Housekeeping
The MiraLAX itself is reg. 12.00. I'm just excited about all my savings!! I'm heading back on Wed. to stock up on some other things.

Get her emails and she will send you all the updated finds!! She has links that break down the sales/savings/coupons for CVS and Walgreen which are my favorites! I love their register rewards and Extracare bucks!!

Coupons Anyone??
I stumbled upon a cool site today. I was over looking at The Krazy Coupon Lady deals when I stumbled upon a site that you can order coupons from. Ordering coupons might seem wierd but I'm really getting tired of stumbling upon a deal and seeing it was in an insert from three months ago. Well, this is no longer a problem. Woot Woot!!
I just kicked some coupon butt!! Fern I think you will be very proud of today's purchases!!
I worked up some coupon magic!!
Tape - I got 34 rolls Correction - it was 51 rolls of Scotch Magic tape for $2.03!! That is total not a piece!
Mind you it is $5.49 a roll at Staples!!
I realize I'm using a lot of exclamation marks, but so would you!! :)
Running in second place for super cool was my body wash purchase.
4 bottles of Sweet Honeysuckle Softsoap body wash for $12.00 and recieved $8.00 in register rewards!!
Keep in mind it is $5.79 reg. I plan to go back in a few days when they restock and get two more which will be free with my register rewards plus they will give me $4.00 more in register rewards!!
I'm so stinking excited!!
Yesterday I bought 22 boxes of cereal for around 1.20 cents a piece. Good cereal!! Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheat, Fiber One Honey Clusters, Cheerios, etc.The little old lady at the check out was all worried. She kept saying - Ohhh how will you ever eat all this?!?! I said don't worry mam my family of five will have it gone in no time. In the end she was going -- Ohhhh what a great deal you got!!
Thanks so much Fern for getting me into the couponing!! I owe you big time!
