It Rocked!!

Check me out!! I'm a sister sandwich!!
What an awesome day! I learned lots and I have tons to share but I'm off and running for now! I have to tote my three to volleyball with me but I will sooooo report back soon. I had a great day listening to Gail and Joan. They are so very full of humor and knowledge! I felt like I was at the Oprah show. They kept surprising us with free stuff!! Check it all out!
An adorable book about a dog who builds stamina to be all that he so wishes to be!! Dex The Heart of a Hero which my 6 year old is holding as we speak! Click on over and grab it up on Amazon!! I will post the rest of their recommended reads tomorrow!

Wind chimes, a sassy check mark, a poetry book, and other cute stuff were all wonderful perks to a very awesome training!! I'm pretty amped up for tomorrows training. I've never been to Cafe training before so this will be all new and I can't wait.

A bit after I sit down a fellow blogger sits at my table. Of all the places to sit in a giant room full of Daily 5 crazed women and we end up sitting right across from each other.
Well, Cindi from
was very nice and I had a great time mingling during training!

I went to training with Jen Baur from
Little Bits
We teach together over at Madison!
You should click on over and check them out!

Stay tuned for more to come!!

  2. I can't wait to hear about it all! I did daily 5 last year and it didn't work as well as I had hoped. I plan to do daily 5 +2 additional centers {technology, skill builder}next year. And how awesome is it that you got to meet them! Very cool!!

  4. Lucky you. I saw the Sister about 5 years ago. I hadn't started using Daily 5, so I didn't really know what to expect. Now that I've done (daily 3) I'd love to hear them again.

  5. I was at that conference and the CAFE conference that they did the next day as well. I thought it was awesome too. I will be teaching third grade this year after many years of 5th and 4th. I have never used Daily 5, but I am going to try it this year. I teach in Taylor, which is just outside of Detroit. Small world.
